Adopting a rescued Keeshond is a great way to enrich your family and save a dog's life.

Our adoption fee varies dependent on age and health of the dog This adoption fee includes all vaccinations, a Heartworm test, Fecal Parasite Test, Blood tests, complete veterinary check and treatment of any applicable issues found at the initial veterinary examination. All dogs will be spayed/neurtered prior to placement (unless medically contrindicated)
We choose the best home for the dog to ensure a life long placement
Adopting from Keeshond Affiliated Rescuers of the Mid Atlantic (K.A.R.M.A.)
To adopt a Keeshond from K.A.R.M.A. you must fill out the attached application, go through a reference checks and participate in a home visit. We will check references with your veterinarian and others who are familiar with the animals in your home.
Be willing and able to spend the time and money to maintain this pet for its natural lifetime.
If you are not a homeowner, you must provide written landlord approval.
The dog you are adopting is a companion animal. It is not to live on a chain, or be ignored while kenneled. If you move, you must plan to take the pet with you.
